I know that the school year is winding down, and I am hoping that my writer's block is stemming from my overwhelming sense of exhaustion. I feel bad - to my few loyal readers - that I have not been adding much lately, but I hate the thought of posting just to be posting.
Here is the latest in my world. I went to Branson this weekend. We had a splendid time and I spent way too much money. It was only my second night away from Harrison in his 17 months. I was excited to go but when I came home to get my things, I didn't want to leave him. Not that he cared, of course. He had a great time with Dad and sis at Grandma and Grandpa's.
Above is my mom, Aunt Dana, and Aunt Diane
And this is Sheri, me, Brittany, Brett, and Brooke
We have 17 days of school left. I start jury duty tomorrow, and I am about as excited as one could possibly imagine. This is the second time I have had it in 7 years. I said if I got it again I was going to unregister to vote. Can you even do that? And would I be the only Social Studies teacher on the planet who was not a registered voter? I am kidding - sort of.
