Hello, Saturday!

We have had a busier than usual week because our church was having a revival. What that means, of course, is that we were not home Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday night until past time for my kiddos to be in bed. We did have a relaxing Thursday which was nice. Last night my hubby and I had a date. We had dinner with friends and then we went to see The Hunger Games. I have read the books (Nathan has not, of course), so I was anxious to see it. It was really good, and we had a fun night out.
This morning I have a trash pick-up with the National Honor Society at school. I think this afternoon I might go shopping after Harrison goes to bed. I had said I wasn't buying an Easter dress for myself this year with our situation being what it is, but there have been a few little things that have made me change my mind. God has blessed us tremendously in these last few weeks. We - thus far - have not had to touch our savings account or ask anyone for financial assistance. I still have Christmas money that I wasn't willing to spend back in January for fear that we might need it for essentials. Well...I have a birthday coming up, so I am feeling a little better about spending Christmas money :). Saying all that, I probably won't be able to find anything. That would be my luck.
Nathan may have a job. He received a phone call earlier in the week saying that there was a field service job (same thing he was doing before but with a different company) open. The guy doing the hiring was going to be out-of-pocket for a couple of weeks and they have to post the position, so Nathan was told he could think about it for a little while. He is still holding out some hope for another job he interviewed for, but he was told this week (not by anyone official, just through the grapevine) that they weren't going to hire anyone until May. If that is true, that puts Nathan out of the running. He can't turn down a job offer for the hope of getting an offer from these other people. An offer he might not get. He is going to drive to Tulsa to talk to this field service job man on Monday. We think he would start on the 16th. So nothing official, yet, but it is looking hopeful!
I know there aren't any pictures of the children here. And I know I have "talked" a lot. I promise some pictures soon, but there just really wasn't time this week. Goodbye, March. I can't believe how quickly you went by.

Erin, that is great news! I hope things go well Monday. I will be praying about this.
