Seriously, Joel Berry has been my friend for that long. Our elementary school had a tree on the playground that we could climb on and play (they would so NEVER do that these days), and in the second grade, he pulled me off of it. It knocked the wind out of me, and the first thing I did when I caught my breath was to tell the nearest teacher. Our friendship survived - both the pulling and the telling. Joel read Scripture at my wedding, and my only trip to CA was to attend his wedding. I see him and his beautiful wife every couple of years and I cherish our friendship. When I saw that his tour was coming to Arkansas - and it was over Spring break - I just knew that I had to go.
This is Joel...
And this is his character, Tavin Dillard...If you are looking for some entertainment, you can go to YouTube and search for Tavin Dillard or Sweet Tea Films and you will find a plethora of Tavin episodes. It is a hoot!
