This picture is not zoomed. That emu was looking me right in the eye about 2 inches from my window. And it stayed there for quite some time.

A Little Wildlife Adventure
Our Spring Break has been wet and soggy. Friday was supposed to be our first pretty day, so we decided to head to Gentry to their drive thru wildlife safari. It was not a pretty day - oh how I hate when the weather people miss it by this much. We had such a good time, though. Nathan's sister, Elizabeth, and her two girls went with us. And if you are in this neck of the woods, I recommend it to you. The kids had a blast.

Also not zoomed. The buffalo wanted to take a little looksie as well.
You might want to enlarge this picture to get the true effect. That monkey has a baby holding on to its underside. You can plainly see the foot and hand if the picture is big enough.
These two camels were so friendly...they never wanted us to leave. They had the road blocked and would not move. Nathan honked and eased forward. Nothing. They just looked at us and stayed put. All we could think was, "Watch out. They spit!"
