Things I Love About Christmas
C - Christmas Carols. We have been listening to Christmas music for a while now. Love it!
H - Hearing the giggles, laughter, gasps, and squeals as presents are revealed.
R - Reaching out to others. Whether it be through an angel tree, donations to the food bank, or caroling to shut-ins, there is a tendency to do more for others during this time of year.
I - Inspirational stories. Did you see that story about the woman paying off people's stuff at KMart? How amazing! Or soldiers' stories as they serve our country during this season. There are so many inspirational things and people happening in the world. This time of year that kind of stuff gets our attention.
S - Stockings! We do the stockings first thing on Christmas morning. The kids faces and excitement is contagious.
T - Tree. I have already posted about how much I love the tree. It is so pretty.
M - Memories. I have so many memories of Christmases past. From Mandy's first car to Jillian's first Christmas and lots in between. I can't ever put all those memories into words, but they are there . No doubt.
A - Appreciation. I think about telling people how much I appreciate them more at this time of year than any other. And I feel appreciated a little, too.
S - Savior. Trying to keep the focus on what the season is truly about and not all the other stuff.
