Spring Field Trip 2011

Jillian's field trip today consisted of a couple of places. We started our morning at The Monkey House. It is a place full of big inflatables/bounce-around stuff. We were there for a couple of hours before we headed off to the park for a picnic and playtime there. It turned out to be a pretty day but I thought I was going to freeze when we first got the park. The sun started to shine, though, so we got comfortable and enjoyed the beautiful spring day!

While I was comfortable at The Monkey House with my jacket on, the kids got hot and sweaty running around. This was about an hour into the excitement.

You would think we left the monkey at The Monkey House, but mine made it to the park. She climbs these poles like they are there for just that purpose. And then she slides right now when she decides she is ready. It is pretty impressive.

More monkeying around...

It was a really great day - with just me and my girl. We haven't had a lot of that in the last 6 months. Speaking of 6 months, Happy 6 month birthday to Harrison! He is growing so fast. I fear he will start kindergarten next year (or so it will likely seem). Friday Harrison and I will have a day to ourselves as he has to go the doctor, and I have taken the day off for that. I like this every other day stuff. A person could get used to it.
