A Taste of Christmas

Before we get to Christmas, I have pictures from the sleepover.  One of the girls went home after the movie, so she missed this excitement.  Here are some silly girls having a good time being pre-teen girls!

Our Christmas program at church was last night.  The preschoolers sang.  The children sang. And then we adults did our part. After that we all went over to our Family Life Center for Christmas Around the World. We had food from all over the world (I made an Eggplant-Cauliflower Stew from Indian - it was NOT good). And we had a fashion show of clothing from all over the world.  Everyone in my family but me participated in the fashion show.  The lady who organized said she talked to me about Jillian and I wearing belly dancer clothes but I don't remember that.  So I didn't go when it was time to get assigned clothes, and sadly missed getting to be a belly dancer ;).  The world dodged a bullet there, I tell you.

This week we do less Christmas and more birthday, but Christmas will hit full swing after Saturday.  I just love this time of year.  And I mean that.   No sarcasm intended.
