We love to have parties around here. We started with the sleep over last weekend. Then on Friday we had donuts for breakfast and TGI Fridays for dinner. And Saturday our house was full of loved ones as we celebrated with family. You know Jillian has a thing with cakes. She never just picks something out of the book or says "Put some pretty flowers on top," She is always looking for something unique. This year she noticed these ribbons of icing and decided she wanted that. I liked it because it had tons of icing. And let's be frank, I eat cake because it has icing on it. So yea! for me.
She was surrounded by lots of people. Aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, family friends, and neighbors. It is humbling and unreal how many people love our kiddos. It is among our many blessings.
She also got some cool stuff. Games, clothes, reading material, etc. She was excited about all her new acquisitions.
She has been wanting a desk. We waited until the last present to reveal that to her. This is her response upon seeing it. (Sorry no desk pictures yet. I will make that happen eventually.)
Some cousin love!
My nephew Joel loves his Papa and Nanny. He refuses to take a picture for me but I managed to sneak one when he was snuggling Papa.
So my girl is official now. She has partied and partied. She has been for her 11-year-old check-up which included a couple of shots. Now on to Christmas!
