Do you know that 3 weeks from now I will be back to work? We have accomplished very little this summer. I am going to call Harrison potty trained but that might be a slight exaggeration. But that one thing, albeit a huge thing, is about the only thing we have done. Jillian has had swim team practice three days a week. She has been taking stroke lessons once a week. She has piano lessons once a week. And she has a few swim meets scattered in there. That is what we have done. Followed the girl around.
And now it is almost time to get back to the grind. In some ways, I am ready. Per a previous post, my children often drive me crazy. I like the structure that the school year gives us. We know where we are supposed to be and when we are supposed to be there. And I am not in charge of keeping my 9 year old occupied. But I enjoy sleeping until 8 o'clock or so. I like watching tv and doing laundry during the day and not right up to bedtime. I like going to Wal-Mart when there are a lot fewer people there (not that I like going to Wal-Mart, ever).
Like it or not, my days of freedom are numbered. We have 3 more swim meets. We have a little trip to Mountain View planned. And then I will be preparing for the 2013-14 school year to kick off. I will have to work on getting mentally ready between now and then.

We have been running to day camps this summer. My oldest daughter loves it. It has helped give her something to do. When the school year starts it is fast and furious. My break is over in a week. Yikes. It was fast!
