A Little Framing Going On

After a long wait, we have finally seen some action this week.   On Monday, our lumber was delivered.   On Tuesday, we got one wall up.   Yesterday they got a little more done.  Today they got a lot more done.   There are a few walls still missing, but things are coming together now.   

This is the front of the house.

The first picture below is of our master bedroom. I was probably standing somewhere in the master bath when I took the picture.  The second one is of the living room (taken from the kitchen area).   We are going to have a huge window in the living room.   You can see it there on the left.   It ought to make for a bright, happy place with a pretty view of our trees and backyard.  The third picture is taken from our front door.   We will have an entry way with the dining room to the immediate left.   We will have a coat closet there on the right.

Jillian is standing in her closet and is very excited.   All the extra bedrooms are almost exactly the same size.  One closet is bigger than the others, so she has picked that room to be hers.

This would be the kitchen.  It will be open to the living area.   We will have a 5 foot island bar where the pipe is sticking up.

Harrison just wanted his picture made.   Poor fellow!  No one ever pays him any attention.   I was across the house and he yelled, "Mommy!"  When I got close, he said, "Take my picture."
