BooBoos, Reuniting, and a Few Oscars!

Before I left for DC, we went to get pedicures.   Jillian had had one once before, but it had been a long time. She enjoyed it and looked pretty all dolled up.
You know I fancy myself half British.  The other half of me is an Oscar winner.   While we were in DC, we went to the National Portrait Museum.   I had only been there one other time, and I remembered there were Oscars in there.   It took a while to find them, but we did!
Tuesday Harrison got up at 6:45.   He was awake and ready to take on the world.   He played and had a good morning.   Then he took his nap.   And when I tried to wake him up, he continued to want to nap.   Could there be anything more precious in the whole wide world?
Not long after our nap snuggles, he decided he needed a band-aid for one of the approximate 1000 bug bites he has.   I gave him a piggy back ride to the bathroom.   He started to slip; I tried to catch him to let him slide down.   I didn't.   He fell face flat on the floor.   He screamed.   I picked him to love on him and when he sat up there was blood dripping from underneath his chin.   So we took him to the doctor for his first official booboo.   They didn't stitch him (although they very well could have).   They glued him and put strips on him.   He has not missed a beat since then.   I, of course, felt terrible.   I have known that he would need stitches and trips to the ER, but I was not prepared for it to be my fault.
Last night we went to church camp to visit Jillian.   The picture is blurry but you can still see the message.  They were reunited!   And I am not sure who was happiest.   They exchanged several huge hugs.    Harrison kept saying we were going to "get Jilly" and would not listen when I would say we were going to visit.   He misses her a lot.
On the potty training front, we are having about 2 accidents everyday, but he is doing fairly well the rest of the time.   He is making some progress.   He occasionally tells me he will do it all by himself.   He doesn't even want me to go with him at all.   I do have hope, but it looks like we might need another week to get the problems areas worked out.   Yea!
