All Roads Lead to...

Well, folks, after months of waiting, there appears to be a nice little road on my little piece of this earth.   Our builder went with a different dozer guy, and he worked some on Wednesday.   He didn't work yesterday - we don't know why.   He was back today with his good friends, the dump truck drivers, and they finished our road and got the pad ready.   Here is the view from about where the house will start.
If you close your eyes and imagine, you could be seeing our house in the picture below.   If you can do that, can you tell me what color the brick is?   I am really struggling with that choice.   And I know I have about 5000 more choices to make.    I am hoping this will be the hardest one.   I said "hoping".
And this week, my roads lead to - not our new house - but to Washington, DC.   I will be in the air in 10 hours heading away from my family and my house beginning to get built.   You might want to pray for all involved.    I don't like being away from my family.   They aren't used to not having me around.   And being a single parent (especially of Harrison) is somewhat challenging at times.
If my calculations are correct - and I make no promises or guarantees of that - this will be my 10th trip to DC.  It is a good trip and I look forward to it - I just wish it was a tad bit shorter.   See you next week!

I don't see red brick. That's about all I've got...
