Jillian and Danielle
Waiting for presents to be opened. Daddy is eating his 14th (or so) rice krispie treat. It is a miracle (and some good genetics) that he stays so skinny.
Triston has entered the age where he prefers not to be photographed. So I not only took his picture, I got his mom smooching him as well. He will love me for this one. Jason picking on Holli. She enjoys picking at adults, and they enjoy picking right back.
The whole brood. Rachel is the oldest (middle back) and just turned 17. Harrison is the baby, and he is 2, of course.
My babies in Grandma's new chair.
Harrison and Grandma.
Harrison "loving" on Rebecca.
Harrison hanging out with Grandpa.
On this Christmas Eve Eve, I am thinking a lot about restoration and reconciliation. It seems like every where I turn there is bickering, fighting, murmuring, and arguing. I dread turning on the news as one group is inevitably pointing a finger and blaming another group or person for all the evils of the world. I see it everywhere. And I am tired, but this morning, I got a great reminder. The world may seem like it is falling apart and the worst it has ever been, but the fact is evil has been here or Jesus would not have needed to come to this earth as a baby so many years ago. He is the Life, the Light, our Salvation, and God's glory. May the Word be bright in your life as we celebrate His coming to earth!
