There was still enough for some snowballs.
Look closely, Jillian is dodging a snowball thrown at her by her father. We do not discriminate around here. Child, girl, young, old - if you are outside, you are vulnerable to attack.
Even my little man got in on the action.
There was an attempt at snow angels. Let's just say we will have to keep trying to be angelic in other ways.
Harrison liked the snow. He even did okay with being all bundled up. He liked picking up a little bit and throwing it, of course.
Since the snow, we have accomplished very little. Our house was shown on Thursday. The people made a good offer but they have to sell their house first. Nathan told them to sell their house and then come see us. On Thursday, I attended the funeral of our long-time school counselor. She was married to our superintendent that died about a year and half ago. Those two dedicated their entire lives to education and to the Alma School District. In so many ways, they left examples for all of us in education.
And now for my end of the year wrap-up. A couple of weeks ago our pastor used a phrase in his sermon. "Live worthy." I have pondered this and meditated on it. I believe that it is so important to live worthy. Worthy of Christ - as I tell the world I am a Christian. Worthy of my calling - to be a godly wife, a virtuous mother, and an effective teacher.
So in 2013, may we all live worthy. Happy New Year - may it be blessed.
