Do We Really Need A Christmas Card?

At least there is never a dull moment.  Right?   Getting a Christmas card picture around here was a little like getting a man on Mars.   Just almost impossible.

We tried at the school Christmas party...
So this one is pretty good, but Jillian isn't really looking at the camera and Nathan was not impressed with their attire.
My boy sat on Santa's lap.   I had my doubts - not gonna lie.   He didn't smile, but he did sit.   He even gave Santa a high five, fist bump, and a handshake when it was all over and he was safely off his lap.
Take 2.   This one was the photographer's fault.   I was too far away, and I had them positioned in such a way that they were too lopsided.   But look at that dimple!
I was beginning to lose him here.
Pretty close to being gone here.
Now is when you can start singing, "It's over!"
And this one says, "You should have stopped about 5 minutes ago.   I gave you all the signs but you ignored them.   Remember that next year."
So then we worked on individual pictures.   This is my son trying to stab the camera with his Handy Manny screwdriver.
If at first you don't succeed...
Seriously, do you not get it?   I am not cooperating with you.  Thanks for playing, though.
In the end, I did get a useable picture.   I am saving that one for the card itself, but don't be surprised if next year's card includes a photo of me pulling my hair out.
