A Birthday Party Day

Today we will be celebrating Jillian's birthday.   And I am acutely aware that this morning, as I am readying for our party, there are people who won't ever get to have a 9-year-old party for their child.   This is too much.   I absolutely cannot wrap my brain around this one.   Tragedies such as this always get to me, but this one is especially horrific - and I am sure you feel the same way.   So today as we have the  blessed opportunity to celebrate our beautiful daughter, I will be also be thinking about the parents in Connecticut.
