Harrison weighed in yesterday and he has achieved birth weight. He was 8 pounds and 7 ounces yesterday, so we have been cleared until his two month appointment. I was happy to see he had gained a little more but disappointed that it wasn't more. He ate really well all last week and even ate a couple of extra times because he was hungry. I shall not bemoan too much, though. He did what we asked of him and that is all that matters.
Jillian had her 7-year-old check up yesterday. That went well - just as we expected. She weighed in at 56 pounds and was over 48" tall. I need to remember that she struggled with her weight at the beginning, too. Obviously that has ceased to be a problem now!
After the last several days of running around, parties, and painting, we desperately needed a break. Today we have done nothing. Harrison got up at 5:45 to eat. When he went to bed so did I. Jillian and Harrison are still in their pjs, although I have showered and am dressed. I do have laundry to do, and we may take Jillian to get her nails done after lunch. I told her we would do that for her birthday. Tomorrow we have much of the same. No plans, no place to be, no rushing anywhere. Thank heavens!! Nathan will work tomorrow, but then he will be home with us until the 3rd of January. Hope we don't kill each other - you know I am sleep deprived.
