Jillian's 7-Year-Old Birthday Party

I am the proud mama of a 7-year-old! We had a busy day with Harrison's baby dedication, Jillian's party and her Christmas program at church this evening. But it was a wonderful day full of faith, family, and fun. For her party, we returned to Chuck E Cheese. We went last year and had such a great experience, we decided to go back. Jillian designed her own cake again this year. Since her new bedding was going to polka dotted, she wanted her cake to carry on that theme. Matt got this great picture of her eating her pizza. He also got one of her showing her pizza chewed up in her mouth - I won't be sharing that one.

The Ticket Blaster is very cool. They did not have this last year. The kids get in there and try to catch has many tickets as possible in 30 seconds. Jillian is prepared to get going...

I think she had a good time. She was kind of in a mood during the party but I wondered if she just didn't like being the center of attention. She seemed to get back to herself after we got home and she just got to play.
