At Least It Is News

I had grown very frustrated with not knowing when the closing on our home would take place.  We had been told the 5th, but the appraisal only happened yesterday.   I was fairly convinced that the original date was not going to happen.   Today we got all the utilities turned on in the rental.   I was planning on spending my evening over there cleaning - preparing to move in on Saturday.   Our realtor was here when I got home and informed me that the closing will most likely happen between the 15th and the 19th.    So I did not clean.   We will not be moving this weekend.   And honestly, I am fine with all of this, now that I have a date.   That is all I needed - a time frame.   Now I have more time to get stuff packed.   I am just hoping that all the wonderful people who were going to help us move this Saturday will be available on the real moving date.
