A Tale of Two Days

This time last week we were "anticipating" the year's first snowfall. And as we all know, it did fall. So my girl went out and played in it for a while. She always like to investigate first - see how deep things are and all that fun stuff. She usually plays around on the trampoline, too. Then she throws snowballs at her mother. Luckily for me, I stay inside and let the snowballs hit the glass.

Today was the exact opposite. It was a beautiful day. Jillian went to a friend's and Nathan had trap-shooting practice, so my little man and I were home alone. We enjoyed the wonderful sunshine and some outside time together.

This is series of pictures that show him playing with a rock. First we have to inspect it.

Then we hold it up.

Higher...

Even higher...

Getting ready...

And we throw it and have a great time.

He waves all the time now. He waves as we drive down the road or if he hears a car go by the house. He really doesn't even have to see it. He just waves. So today as we played outside, he waved a lot to the cars going up and down our street.

From snow to sunshine. My babies love their outside time.
