This time last week we were "anticipating" the year's first snowfall. And as we all know, it did fall. So my girl went out and played in it for a while. She always like to investigate first - see how deep things are and all that fun stuff. She usually plays around on the trampoline, too.

Then she throws snowballs at her mother. Luckily for me, I stay inside and let the snowballs hit the glass.

Today was the exact opposite. It was a beautiful day. Jillian went to a friend's and Nathan had trap-shooting practice, so my little man and I were home alone. We enjoyed the wonderful sunshine and some outside time together.

This is series of pictures that show him playing with a rock. First we have to inspect it.

Then we hold it up.

Higher...

Even higher...

Getting ready...

And we throw it and have a great time.

He waves all the time now. He waves as we drive down the road or if he hears a car go by the house. He really doesn't even have to see it. He just waves. So today as we played outside, he waved a lot to the cars going up and down our street.

From snow to sunshine. My babies love their outside time.
