Harrison's 15-Month Check-Up

I missed my very first doctor's appointment - ever - for one of the children yesterday. I had missed the two previous days of class getting set for History Day and then actual History Day, so I really needed to be in class yesterday (although if you read yesterday's post, maybe I should have been away for another day). And it seemed pointless for me to take off to go to the doctor since Nathan would be here. I say all that to say, I didn't like missing it. It just felt off. That is really the only word for it.

Harrison was 31 3/4" long and weighed 22 lbs 14 oz. That put him at the 65th percentile on height and 25th for weight. He had only gained 2 ounces since November, so I was worried about that. Nathan said the doctor really wasn't. The kid eats all the time (or at least would like to), so I was a little surprised that he hadn't gained more. He also got a couple of shots - Hep A (I think) and another one (DTAP). I didn't think he would get any shots, but Nathan said he didn't even cry. Such a big boy!
