Jillian is an amazing child - sometimes amazingly smart, sometimes amazingly slow, sometimes amazingly focused - but always amazing. We have not really talked about Nathan's job situation much in front of her. She knows he lost his job and that things are going to have to change around here if he doesn't find one soon, but we don't harp on it. It is definitely not our dinner conversation. This morning as she was getting ready for school, she got a dollar of her own money to put in her folder for her Valentine's party. I told her that I would take care of that; she really didn't need to do that. Her response was, "I can do it. If I had more, I would help pay the bills."
Thank you, Lord, for her heart and her spirit. May you grow that in her continually.

oh my goodness! tears! that has got to be one of the sweetest things i have ever heard. what a precious little girl you have! i pray my boys will grow up just like her!
