My Super Bowl

I would like to say first that I am feeling much better. So for those of you who have been praying for me and thinking about me over the past couple of days, I sincerely appreciate that. I honestly think I just had to let a lot of that stuff get to the surface so that I could move on from it. Friday night I sang in this fundraiser thing called GospelFest. We had practiced these songs for months but the words spoke to me in a completely different light Friday night as I sang about Jesus being my comfort and the relief from my stress. I was feeling better even as I walked out the door of that church. Then I came home and had some ice cream, got a good night's sleep, and woke up yesterday feeling much better. Hopefully it will be a long time before I have that meltdown feeling again.
Now onto the subject at hand - the OSCARS. Tonight, tonight...won't be just any night. It is the Academy Awards, and I love it. I haven't seen many of the movies this year - much to my dismay. Having a baby slows down my movie going, but it doesn't stop me from having my opinions. So let me tell you how I think tonight will go down.

Best Actor: George Clooney
Best Actress: Meryl Streep (but I would love, love, love it if Viola Davis would win)
Best Supporting Actor: Christopher Plummer
Best Supporting Actress: Octavia Spencer
Best Picture: The Artist (or The Descendants) I really can't decide on this one. I go back and
forth. And I would love to see The Help win but I don't think it will.

I am leaving a lot of the stuff off the list because I am completely in the dark about so much of it. That won't stop me from watching every second, though. Happy Oscar Day!
