Hanging out Outside, 9 Months Old, and Sibling Love

Monday night was so nice that we all sat out on the porch and enjoyed the evening. Harrison got antsy, of course, so Nathan let him wander about. He crawled right through the grass - stopping every once-in-a-while to check out his surroundings and new perspective. He seemed to thoroughly enjoy this new experience. And then we found some leaves...

Jillian did her mandatory reading with us. She has finished the second in the Little House series. I am so proud of her.

And then we found the leaves and grass and decided that eating them would be a good idea...

Smiling for mommy...

Who is this - you might ask? I know he doesn't show up often on the blog, but that night he was shooting baskets and the ball got stuck. He just stood there and looked at it for a few seconds. I suppose he thought it would fall eventually. It didn't. It required a little cajoling to come loose.

Harrison love is something very special. He was giving Jillian a big, wet one this afternoon. And today he is 9 months old! Can you believe it? I really should start thinking about a birthday party for my little man.

When all else fails, show Jilly that we love her by trying to eat her arm. As of now, he hasn't quite figured out how to use his two teeth, but he will. When he does, she won't be smiling so big.
