We feed Harrison his food and then wait about 30 minutes before offering him a bottle. He doesn't take a bottle if you give it to him right after he eats . On Monday he ate his cereal and was sitting with Jillian in the "wait" time. I noticed that he was being awfully quiet. This is how I found him. He likes big sis a lot and was quite comfortable up close to her.
We are in the process of getting rid of the pacifier, but we are taking baby steps. Since we got home from my parents', he has only gotten it when he was ready to sleep. No wake time with the pacifier. He has done remarkably well. I haven't braved taking it away when it is time to sleep yet. Maybe next week. You might want to pray for that one. He likes his paci a lot when he is sleeping. That might be a little harder habit to break.
