The Last One, I Promise

Thank you for indulging me as I have overloaded you with pictures from our vacation. We took hundreds of pictures, and it was just overwhelming to try to pick 10-15 of them. I will leave you with these...

This was Harrison's last day on the beach. We got the best grins and happy faces out of him at this time. Apparently we needed that chair when we were taking his official pictures. Nathan called him a beach bum for life.

Have you ever thought about that the ocean never touches the same beach twice? As I sat there with Harrison and noticed that with every wave, the sand changes. A shell that was there one second would be gone the next. That said, if the beach and sand are changing, so is the ocean. I am sure there is some deep, spiritual lesson in this, but I am not up for that. Just an interesting thought I had at the beach.

I have a list of "crazy" things I would like to do before I get too old to enjoy them. I went skydiving during my first year of teaching. Incredible! While in college and also during my first year of teaching, I did that skycoaster thing. 180 feet up in the air and you pull the cord, drop, and then swing. Loved it! I had parasailing and hang gliding on my list as well. Now I can scratch parasailing off the list. It wasn't quite the thrill I had envisioned. It was nice, and I am glad I did it. I did feel quite motion sick, though. I did not anticipate that. Now I will have to look into gliding off Mount Nebo. My mom loves it when I do these things ;).

Taking off...
Way up there...
Getting dipped...

Harrison giving Uncle Matt some pool lovings. He is very generous at times - with the lovings and the slobber. Watch out!

One of my favorites from the whole trip. My two guys having a moment. Isn't it sweet?

Harrison's first ride on a ferris wheel. He didn't seem to notice he was way off the ground.

Jillian playing on the Ipad with Harrison watching (and grabbing). He is fascinated by the gadgets. He likes Nathan's phone and the Ipad. One of these days, these two will be fighting over it. For now, Jillian just pushes his hand out of the way and keeps on going.

And now I am done. We were blessed to have such an amazing, relaxing, and rejuvenating vacation. I shall now move on now. Good-bye, ocean, waves, sand, and sounds. Hopefully we will be together again.
