A First Beach Experience

Harrison's first time on the beach was a big day. Jillian had only been to the beach once before - and she was 2 1/2, so she didn't remember much about it. She had a big time and thoroughly enjoyed her time playing in the surf, sand, and the pool.

Harrison was not a fan of his sunglasses. I encouraged him to keep them on, but he didn't always cooperate. I love this picture because it looks like he is lowering the glasses to check out some girl. Nathan said he would have to teach him how to check out a girl without removing the sunglasses:). He didn't really care for the ocean on the first day. He got better as the week progressed, but he was overwhelmed at the beginning.

He eventually had enough and he went to sleep. He took a nice 45 minute nap laying on the beach.
Jillian playing in the water.

Pretty, happy girl!

You have to look carefully, but there is a Jilly in this picture below.

We went with Mandy and Matt and their girls. You will see more pics of them throughout my many vacation blogs. This is the middle one, Keely.

After Harrison woke up, I took a couple of silly pictures. Nathan laughed at me. But I really like this one - even if it is suppose to be silly.

After being on the beach for a while, we made our way to the pool. Harrison really liked the pool. I believe he might be a pool baby. Since we already have one pool baby, that should work out well.

My fish - swimming in the kiddie pool.

The morning end with some lovin' from sister in the pool. Not longer after this, Harrison and I retreated to the condo.
