Fun for Sophie

I know I haven't been updating often. This going back to school thing is really taking up my time. I leave here at 7:20 or so in the morning. We get back a little after 4 and it is almost time to start making dinner. Once dinner is done, it is time for Jillian's bath and getting ready for bed. Harrison eats at 7:30. When he is finished and put to bed, it is basically time for me to go to bed. This is not complaining, but when you don't have more than a second or two to yourself, there isn't much to blog about. I will try to come up with some deep thoughts, funny stories, or something to blog about in the coming days. Last week I celebrated my 35th birthday. We had a good time having dinner with friends on Tuesday and Thursday. I got a wonderful chocolate covered strawberry from my friend on Thursday (which was made better by the fact that I tortured students by eating it in front of them). But come Friday, the show was about my niece, Sophie, who will be celebrating her 4th birthday this week. Here are a few highlights from the evening (you will notice there is not a lot of Sophie - I'm not sure where she was in relation to the other children). Harrison with Nanny but he is trying to reach out and grab something. He has gotten quite grabby and nothing is safe if he decides he wants it including (but not limited to) cereal bowls, eyeglasses, hair, phones, and necklaces). Jillian playing in the maze.
Jonathan in the ball pit. This little guy knows how to have a good time. You'll see that even more in the next picture.
Look at that face.
I have no idea what is happening here. I suspect that Jared has done something - because that would sound like him - but I don't really know. Whatever it was, Jared, Keely, and Jillian found it to be very funny.
The birthday princess!
Somethings in life are normal. Some are not. My child is sometime not as you can plainly see.
