Harrison's 15 Random Facts

Harrison has put together a little bit of information on himself. Hope you will enjoy learning through some of his private thoughts. And, speaking of private thoughts, can you guess what was going through his mind when Jillian was taking the picture below? 1. I got my shots today, and I handled it like a big boy. I cried when they stuck me but then I stopped. I was smiling by the time Mommy was putting on my pants.

2. My favorite time of the day is getting my diaper changed after I eat. I lay there and grin and talk. I am at my most pleasant then.

3. I am sleeping pretty well but not really consistent enough to satisfy Mom. Last night I was asleep by midnight and Mommy had to wake me up to feed me this morning. But the two previous nights, I woke up at 5 in the morning ready to bond. I got the feeling that Mommy wasn't as thrilled at the bonding as I was.

4. I hate tummy time. Mommy insists that I do it everyday and everyday I cry. I keep thinking she will quit this, but she doesn't.

5. I am trying to suck on my thumb/hand, but Mommy isn't very keen on that. She takes my hand out of my mouth and puts the pacifier in. Something about throwing away a pacifier but how you can't throw away a thumb. I don't really understand.

6. I spit. And I tend to do it at inopportune times.

7. I have my daddy's brown eyes. They may not be shaped the same, but they are definitely the right color.

8. I have my mommy's dimple. It is even on the same side.

9. My sister loves me so much it is smothering. No, really. She says she wants to hold me but it often seems like a wrestling match. She kisses me and gets really close to my face to talk to me. I love her, I do, but some personal space might be necessary.

10. I like bath time, but I do have a tendency to pee while I'm in there. Mommy has to change the water often because I do that. She takes me out of the tub and refills it while I freeze and cry. I wish we could get this figured out so I wouldn't be so cold.

11. My birthday this year is 6 days before Thanksgiving. Jillian's birthday is always 6 days before Christmas. My parents LOVE celebrating birthdays around the holidays - or so it would seem.

12. I hold my head up very well and love to look around. I stretch my neck out, so I look like a turtle sometimes. I am pretty cute.

13. I enjoy time in the swing. I get to listen to soft music and everyone leaves me alone, for the most part.

14. I enjoy being outside, but apparently I was born at the wrong time of year to enjoy much of that. Spring will be great when I can be out more.

15. I am a great snuggler right now but I am already making plans to change that. I can see that I will have too much to do and too many places to go to sit around and snuggle people. You all should brace yourself for that change which is bound to happen long before Mommy is ready.
