We are having VBS this week and Nathan is charge of the recreation. The first day the rec was a scavenger hunt of sorts. He came in at the end of the evening and said, "Guess who was the worst kid about finding the stuff?" That would be my girl. So last night at dinner we were having a good time at her expense about her being so bad at the game. The rest of the conversation went like this...
Jillian: "You guys are so mean!"
Me: "This is something you have always known. We have never tried to hide that fact from you."
Jillian: "Because I wouldn't find it?"
Ha! You've got to love a little self-depreciating humor from the 10-year-old.
