So I Hear It Has Been a Month

I have a theory...   In this house, our computer is in the extra bedroom.  I very rarely come in here, so therefore, my blog has somewhat been forgotten.   So let me fill you in on all that has happened in the last month...

1.  Nathan got a shot on March 19th.   It was the miracle we were hoping for.   He was better within a day or two.  He has been working in the yard.   And he returned to work this week and made it just fine.  Praise the Lord!
2.  We went to the zoo and walked to Cedar Falls over Spring Break. Harrison had only been to the zoo once and that was when he was just a few months old.   And Jillian had never walked to the Falls.  It was a good little trip to my parents' and time with the family.

3.  We have begun the process of making the outside of this place look presentable.   Unfortunately, we are doing so in the season of snakes.   Nathan has found several.   And I hate them!   We bought patio and porch furniture.    We bought a few plants for the front of the house.   Nathan has worked hard trimming some trees and making the area look better.   I know we won't get it all done this spring.  At this point, I just hope we have it ready in the next 10 years! There is a lot of work to be done here, people.   But I love it.  As we played and ate outside last night, it just hit me square between the eyes.  I love it here.  

4.  I also have gotten a year older in this month of absence.   Nathan bought our porch swing on my birthday, so now we can be just "a swangin'"!  

5.   School is good.  Jillian completed her testing this week.   My seniors are winding down.   The year is going to last longer than I hoped - Thank you, winter weather - but it isn't awful.  

I am thankful for this beautiful weather, my well husband, and good times with family.
