Easter 2014, Part 2

Our Easter festivities started on Saturday with an egg hung at Dinee's.
But let's not kid ourselves.  The sweetest thing at the party was not the candy, but the newest member of the family.  My youngest cousin, Brittany, had a baby in March.   Meet Mr. Gavin.   He was an absolute doll, and I was very excited to get to meet him.
This is all the 4th generation who were present with Granny.

This is the members of the Pelt clan that was present for the weekend.   Not a bad looking group, if I say so myself.
Harrison was a finicky egg hunter.  If the egg was dirty, wet, or in a place he didn't like, he wouldn't pick it up.  He did pick up some but he had opinions about those, too.  Look at this face.
And egg hunting is hard work...
Granny and Gavin.  He was very chill.
Once we got home from that party, we did a little egg dyeing.

Sunday morning we get up and search for what the Easter bunny has brought.   He seems to always over do it.
Some of us were not convinced we wanted to be up and at 'em on this beautiful morning.
My Jonathan celebrated his birthday on Sunday.   The birthday boy did well sharing his birthday with a major holiday.
Harrison, my little gum chewer, found himself some bubble gum eggs.   He did need a little assistance in retrieving them, though.
More funny faces about eggs.  He was taking the candy out and discarding the plastic egg.
Everyone with their morning loot.   We have enough candy in this house to keep me gaining weight for several more weeks.
It was another wonderful holiday spent with the dearest people in my world.
