While we were away in Mountain View, they got the house in the dry. This is very exciting because now things can move forward regardless of weather (mostly). We went out last night and cleaned up quite a bit but there is still a lot more left to do. The house is looking bigger now that it has walls up. I guess that without the exterior boards - when you could just see straight through - it messed with my perception. I had often questioned whether we had messed up on room sizes, but now I am comfortable with what we have.
Our builder keeps poking fun because of our huge window. There it is.
This is the view from the back porch into the living room - through the enormous window.
This it the back of the house - I don't think I have posted any pictures of that. The garage is on the right and there is our porch. Harrison's room will be the last window on the left. They did tell us yesterday that they might be done as early as the first of November. I am hoping to be in before the birthdays of my children and holiday decorating, so this makes me very happy. Hoping they are right about that date...
