A Little Goofiness and a Party

Last Tuesday night Harrison and I played around the house while the other two were at gymnastics.    He and I had a rare day of togetherness that day.  Carole has been very sick and hasn't been able to work, so I took off last Tuesday and spent the day with him.
And we love each other so much...    He has started saying, "Mommy loves you so much."   (He refers to himself as you.)
Saturday was niece Sophie's 6th birthday party.   Uncle Matt was giving the big kids there strict instructions about the bounce house.   Notice Jared's face.   He was obviously listening intently.
They still love their mamas - even when they are almost 13!
And some rotten ones even love on Uncle Matt instead of Aunt Erin.
Harrison found the jeep and he drove like crazy until the battery died.
The soon-to-be birthday girl.  Her actual birthday is this Friday.
My Jared is a little on the ornery side.   Just as Jillian was going under the limbo bar, he lowered his side.   I got just the perfect shot to show his guilt.
In the bounce house - Keely is striking a pose.
Jillian was attempting to pogo.   This is a skill I cannot master or really even comprehend.  When I was a kid, they made those pogo balls.   Anybody else remember those?   I could do that.   And did until I got blisters on the insides of my feet.   And I would jump on the pogo ball while jumping rope.   But a pogo stick - not so much.
And I had a little birthday since last I wrote.   Nothing real exciting there.   Dinner on Saturday night.   Not much on Sunday.   Dinner with a dear friend on Monday.   And now I must go and deal with my 2 year old who is refusing to stay in the bed.   Pray for all of us.

Happy Birthday! Your family is the best! I can't believe Jared is 13. Times flies.
