Harrison dyed his, but he had a hard time just letting them sit. He wanted to take them out and see them - often.
Jillian was a little more patient - trying to get that two-toned egg.
I play with the camera at times.
Harrison really wanted to drink the egg dye. I wouldn't let him so he would put the egg scooper to his mouth. I tried, people, I really tried.
It stopped raining by the time we got out of church, but it was sloppy. Soggy. Yuck. We were going to take pictures but wanted Harrison inside for as long as possible. As you can see, he wasn't thrilled about it.
An attempt at sibling pictures. Pray for me...
Nanny and Papa and all the little ones.
The original five. Before all those crazy, wild little ones.
After a lunch that I might never be not full from (I know that doesn't necessarily make sense but surely you get what I am saying), Harrison napped. Then after nap, we had our Easter egg hunt.
Jillian managed to find one of her dyed eggs. She was happy to find the camo egg she accidentally dyed camo.
Harrison had a distinct egg finding pattern. He would find the egg.
Open the egg and comment on the candy inside (Yea!!, Too big, etc).
Take the candy out and put in in the basket.
And leave the opened egg on the ground. We finally convinced him he couldn't do that - after many, many attempts.
Jillian and her loot at the end of the hunt. I am sure they missed a couple, but maybe we will find them next year ;).
Eating our prizes.
The day turned out to be just beautiful - except for the sogginess. The sun was shining. The temperature was just right. Now if it will just stay that way for the next 10 days. Too hopeful? I know. Just let me dwell there for a little while.
