When You Wish Upon a Star...A British Star That Is

Have I ever told you that I am half British?   Well, I am...in my heart.   I have felt this way since 1997.   I was young and carefree and spent an amazing 6 days in London and the surrounding areas.   I LOVED it.   I still do.  I have been back a couple of times since then, and it never ceases to excite my soul.   The other night I told Nathan that if he was looking to do something nice for me (a new car and a new phone are apparently not enough), he could take me to London for the Olympics.   He laughed.   Can you believe that?   If you know Nate, you won't have any trouble believing it.  And then last night...oh, last night, I sat on my couch completely engrossed in Katie Couric's special on the Queen's Jubilee.   So I told Nathan that if he didn't want to do the Olympics, he could get me there by Monday of next week so I could celebrate.   So if you can't find me in a few days, I will be celebrating with The Queen :).

I LOVE English history, so I think that is where my love of London begins. It is so beautiful, historic, clean, and of course, British!
