Hello, 2012

I considered recapping our 2011 but really it just wasn't that exciting. After pregnancy, birth, and baby the year before, maternity leave, a hot summer, and working around baby naps just doesn't really seem news worthy. We had a wonderful 2011, and I face 2012 with hope and faith that things will continue to go well.

School starts back tomorrow - that's right, tomorrow! Can you believe it? I can't, but that is for another day. I am so not ready. Mentally that is. I keep telling myself that Spring Break will be here soon and I'll get another week at home with the kiddos. Then summer will be quickly approaching. I am praying for no snow days to interrupt my grand plans (no snow, floods, electricity problems, etc.). I have already whittled away the snow days in our calendar (in my mind) and am tentatively planning to be out of school about mid-May.

I hope 2012 finds you healthy, content, and ready to meet life's challenges. Begin with boldness and carry on with dignity and grace. Live honestly and with kindess. And love with all of your heart.
