Signing Up

Harrison has a new trick! He is using a couple of signs that we have been working on for a while now. I am not one that appreciates pointing and grunting. I know the pointing thing is going to happen (as he won't have all the signs in the world) but no grunting, please. We have been working on please, thank you (although he says that in words so I haven't pushed that one), more, and drink. He signed please for the first time Saturday morning and has been doing consistently since then. Tonight at dinner he wanted some more to drink and I showed him the sign for more. He did it immediately! He hasn't quite got drink down - which we work on quite a bit - but he seems to realize that things happen quicker when he does the sign! Yea for the little things in life - and the big ones like having such a super smart boy.
