On a different but wonderful note, we went to see my middle nephew Joel get baptized on Sunday. He is such a sweet spirit and now he is my brother! And we celebrated my middle niece, Keely's birthday. And I went to a wedding of one of my all-time favorite students. It was a busy but wonderful weekend.

A Saturday at the Park
Saturday we all went to the park for Harrison's first time to go. We didn't actually go to the playground equipment because there were a couple of groups there so it was really crowded. The good part about the Alma park is that on the other side, there is a nice walking trail. It has some fitness things and monkey bars and such. We hung out there for a little while and enjoyed the beautiful Saturday weather.
He liked the bridge and looked out at the creek below. I was a nervous wreck and didn't get very far from him as I could just see him going right through those slats.

Look how big he is getting! He didn't do much walking, though. The strange rocks and the fact that he is as slow as Christmas meant that he got carried most of the time.
Monkey Jilly. She just loves hanging upside down.
Doing the fitness stuff - mind you, she only did it for the picture. Not for fun or exercise!
Nathan and Jillian went down to the creek. Harrison and found a nice place to sit and enjoy some water.
Then the crazy two came back - maybe a little crazier than before.

Maybe a lot crazier...
Sibling love. They really do love each other. It is a blessing.

What is more fun than a tire swing - oh, wait! I can think of lots of things since my memories of tire swings included people spinning me endlessly and me wanting to throw up all over the place.
A relaxing end to a relaxing time at the park.
I hope next time we can actually play on the equipment. I think Harrison will love the slides and swings. Jillian always has a good time playing there. Maybe we'll get to do that soon.
