Yesterday morning I woke up with my uterus feeling very tight and hard. I wasn't really concerned about that because that happens occasionally. The problem was that I just didn't feel right all day long. And I wasn't feeling the baby move nearly as much as I usually do. But last night I had a revelation...(remember the last time I was pregnant was 7 years ago and I don't remember every little thing about that one). I looked up to see when Braxton-Hicks contractions can start. Everything I read said that I could be having those this early on. So I found my answer, but only after I had worried and fretted about something being wrong most of the day.
Today I am feeling much better. I am feeling the baby move around a lot this morning, so my fears have subsided for now.
I also have started working on my plans for school. I have made it to Christmas with world history. I still have a long way to go, but just getting started has helped my frame of mind. I am now beginning to check things off my list. We have a guy coming today to give us an estimate on gutters and another guy coming tomorrow to order our new windows. I have to go this afternoon to buy some paint, and then I can take care of a little chore around here. So I am going to be busy in the next couple of weeks, but it is fun to see progress.
