We started at my parents' this year. The kids were ready to open a few presents before our annual trip to church for the Christmas Eve service.
Some of our people are ornery - especially to their mothers. But maybe said mother has it coming since she
Harrison is the baby, and the oldest got to open a present first this year. He waited - kind of patiently - for his turn.
My parents got Jillian a new snare drum. She is loving her time in the band in percussion.
We opened "Santa" presents Christmas morning. Harrison got a new bat, baseball balls, and a Tee. He is old enough to play this spring, so we thought we would give him this so he could get practiced up.
But he was most excited about his Batcave. It was the one gift he asked for repeatedly. He was very happy. Then on Saturday we moved up the hill to Nathan's parents' house for Christmas with the Mills. We have some goofballs up there, too.
Grandma and Grandpa got H a Phasma mask from the new Star Wars. It was hit - among children and adults alike.
Nathan's sister, Michele.
And we got all nine of the grands together (one wasn't very happy; see if you can figure that one out). They range in age from 20 to 5. And they are sweet, sensitive, goofy, smart, and sassy.
Sorry for the late entry. I have no real excuse. We went to Branson right after Christmas, Then we came home and I undecorated the house and prepared for a small New Years' Eve gathering. But I have done a lot of sitting - and watching football the last couple of days. Hope your Christmases were merry and bright!
