I am thankful for egg custard. My Granny made the best egg custard. It was one of our favorite treats from her house. I occasionally make one (although I have to make it when I can share it as my husband refuses to eat it), and I did tonight for our small group. While I do love the actual custard, I relish in the memories more. Memories of lunch with Granny and Papaw and eating the custard the next morning for breakfast (no judging - it is made with eggs, a traditional breakfast food). Food memories are the coolest because they encompass good food with even better remembrances.
