We have finally gotten our snow day. I am thrilled as you might expect. The good news - it was beautiful to watch the snow fall yesterday afternoon. The kids have enjoyed playing outside - and a day off. I have gotten my house clean and laundry finished. And the snow is almost all gone. The bad news - the laundry is already piling up again. It is a vicious cycle of putting clothes on, getting wet, taking wet clothes off, putting dry clothes on, and repeat.
I am thankful that this is our first snow day all year. We have made it for a long time without missing school, so I am grateful for that. We have a vacation planned, and I do not want the weather to be a factor in that little endeavor.
Hopefully this is will be the one and only snow day of the year. Surely everyone can be happy with that, right?
