Thankfulness Day 8

A friend of mine posted this morning that she was thankful for a Saturday morning with no commitments.  I would like to Amen! that and add to it.  We have had a commitment free Saturday.  All day.   We slept until we wanted. We ate donuts.  We cleaned up around here.  We enjoyed what turned out to be a beautiful day.  The kids were outside almost the entire day.  And now we get to watch some football after having eaten some yummy potato soup.  I am thankful for these quiet days because we don't have very many.  Next Saturday begins our celebration cycle.  Harrison's birthday party is one week from today.   It is our unofficial start to the holiday gatherings.  So happy to have spent this day without plans, places to go, or long to-do lists.  It has been perfectly lovely.
