This Brings Back Memories

Several weeks ago, Jillian participated in the Spirit Clinic put on by our spirits squads at school.  This was the last year she could do it, and she (much to my surprise) decided she wanted to take part.   Before the girls went out on the field, Harrison had a big time running around the bleachers.  We sit at the very top, and he typically has room to roam.

Now you know how much I loved being a cheerleader.  I tell my students now that I suppose that it really did define who I was back in the day.  Jillian really liked the dance part of the program, and we have an amazing dance program here.  I think she will excitedly take part in that as soon as it becomes an option for her.

 They did a few little simple cheers.

The dance was very cute, and she did a great job.  I wanted to post the video but it was too large.  You could see her counting as she danced - especially at the beginning.  The important part was that she had a good time.  She loved being with the older girls and getting to know them.   Overall, it was a really pleasant experience.

And I was pleased when she was back with me - where she belongs!
