Nathan's Kids are Kind of Crazy

I woke up this morning (mind you the alarm had already gone off, but I was back asleep) to a little fellow creeping into my room.   He informed me that there were monsters in his room.  That they were fighting outside, trying to get in, and making noises at the windows.  And that it was too dark in his room.  So I ushered him back across the house, turned on the closet light, and went to take a shower.   When I got out, I could hear the children playing together in Jillian's room.   So we got up and around earlier than usual this morning.

Remember that Harrison REFUSED to take his picture last week on the first day of school?  Today he insisted that we take pictures before school.   And look how cooperative he is when he comes up with the idea - the exact same idea I had 11 short days ago that was so horrendously awful.  This, my friends, is the story of my life.

On Wednesday when I picked H up from preschool, he was irritated.  A couple of boys were playing with him but he was not appreciative of the way they were playing.  Once we got outside, I asked what was wrong.  He said, "They were woggling me."   I did not - surprisingly - understand this statement.   He proceeded to show me which consisted of a shaking of the head and body in a sassy way.   Let's just say that you shouldn't woggle at Harrison because he does.not.like.it!

Jillian is still enjoying her classes.  And I am enjoying mine.   We are looking forward to a weekend with an extra day.  It is time to spend some good family time with some people I love pretty dearly.
