I haven't blogged lately because I didn't really have much to blog about. This January was just a quick month that felt kind of out of sync with the beginning of school, snow days, and trying to get back into the swing of things. We had a birthday party for my father-in-law. He turned the big 7-0 on the 24th, so we hosted a party for him last weekend. I intended on blogging about that, but I apparently forgot about pictures in the middle of having almost 30 people here. I almost blogged this week about how much I hate the lack of common courtesy these days - especially from students who should have been gracious. But I thought better of that, too. We aren't fans of the NFL, so I don't really have much of opinion about tomorrow's big game. I like Peyton Manning - he is an inspiration to all almost 38-year-olds everywhere. I like Derrick Coleman - he has officially gained a place in my heart. So I guess I win no matter the outcome. The Razorbacks stink. And I am sick of winter.
We are loving the house. We have initiated it well with several parties. We are to start hosting a small group on Tuesdays this coming week. Everyone is doing well and ready for warmer temperatures. I am looking into a beach vacation for this summer, and I find myself wishing the days away until we can hit the road.
Hopefully inspiration will hit and I can come up with something enlightening before too long.
