(Another Stinkin') Snow Day

Alright, folks.   We all know how I feel about this so I won't belabor the point.   And Nathan wasn't feeling well this morning, so snow duty fell on the parent who does not enjoy it - me.  The kids did have a good time, and I took a little trek through our "woods" and got some cool pictures.

Getting ready...
I hate gloves on children.  They don't stay.  The kids can't fix the problem and it turns into a mess.   The glove problem started early this morning.

If you can find a face more adorable than this one, I would like to know where.
He was happy if he fell on his belly, but I tried to get him on his back to make a snow angel and you would have thought I was trying to kill him.   Needless to say, there was no angel.   So much that could be said there...
 My cooperative one!
 And her angelic remnant.
She gathered up snow from the edges of the trampoline and threw it up in the air.

He gathered up snow and threw it at this mother.

We have a little creek that runs through our property.  It was dry when we bought the property.   But it is holding water now.

Jillian has scouted out several neat places in amongst the trees.

The neighbors were out and about, so Jillian and a friend engaged in a little snowball combat.   Harrison carefully watched from the sidelines.

I am hoping beyond hope that this is the end.  They are saying we have more chances tomorrow and at the end of the week, but I am not acknowledging that nonsense.   Please let this be the end of the snow season!  Please...
