So my family took a little trip to Mountain View this past weekend. We did this a couple of times a few years ago but had not been since 2007. We decided on a different location because the cabins were closer together and there was a pool. We had a really good time. I probably could have stayed another day or two just to enjoy the relaxing and the visiting.
This was our cabin. It had a bedroom, a kitchen/living area, and a loft. Our girl deserted us for the cousins, so we just had three of us in our little abode.
He loves his Daddy. He was so excited that Daddy was coming close in the picture above and then sharing some awesome Harrison love in the one below.
H enjoyed putting his mouth and his ears down into the water.
Jillian was there and here is the evidence. I don't have many pictures of her because she was one of the ones swimming further away. I think she had a wonderful time.
My sisters. I took one picture of them just as some toy or something was flying towards them and they were not prepared for the photo. So then I took another and they weren't cooperative. So then I got this one. And now it is on my blog. Ha!
Dinner at Angler's Saturday night.
The campground was located right next to this swinging bridge. Nathan, Jillian, and Harrison went on a little journey Sunday morning to check it out. Here is my girl...
Here is my crew...
All of the Crow grandchildren. Can you believe this mess? And whose kid is trying to run away? Nathan's - that's whose :). It is Harrison (1 1/2), Jonathan (5), Sophie (5), Keely (7), Joel (9), Jillian (8), Jared (12), and Abby (soon to be 12).
This is the entire clan. 16 of us in all. Nathan said something about what two ol' Crows created. Ha!
It was a great weekend. I just wish we could do this when it wasn't fifty million degrees, but then we would probably complain about the water being too cold. And now I must return to work on Wednesday. Ick. At least summer went out on a high note.
