It is Flippin' Hot

Y'all,  I am a wimp.   It is pretty simple, really.  I hate it when it is melty hot outside.    I know and understand that it could be worse, but I don't particularly worry about how much worse it could be.   I just know that it is hot and dry and pretty miserable.   That said...the heat does not stop my children - especially Thing 2 - from wanting to be outside.    So we do try to spend some time outside.   Last week we were playing in the backyard and Harrison just had to sit in Daddy's chair.   But he was not content to just sit there - he had be reclining as well.   Just like Dad does it.  

 He was watching Jillian practice her gymnastics on the trampoline.   If you look at enough of these photos, you can get a little sick feeling.  Trust me, I did as I was trying to decide which ones to include.

Notice the lack of a net around the trampoline.   Ours ripped so we ordered a new one.   We waited to put it on because it was the middle of winter when we bought and no one was jumping anyway.   When we finally decided to put it up, it was the wrong size.  Too much time had lapsed since the purchase, so we couldn't return it and thus are still without a net.   It is on the list of things to get done (haha).
